For many decades, S.I.A.T. has developed and consolidated partnerships with the best European and global steel mills (particularly worth mentioning is the close collaboration with DILLINGER HÜTTE), allowing it to ALWAYS guarantee a constant and wide range of special steels such as: high yield strength sheets, boiler sheets, naval sheets, construction steels up to 350 mm thick (unit weight 24 t).

Fabbrica Italiana Lamiere
Historical producer of train plate sheets, F.I.L. (Fabbrica Italiana Lamiere) in Genoa Pontedecimo, recently underwent a complete and thorough revamping and obtained the A.I.A. (Integrated Environmental Authorization) certification, producing common and special train plate sheets in laser quality and for boiler making.
To date, it has achieved significant international process and product certifications and is the result of a strong and constant commitment from the FIL company team in product sectors, environmental sustainability, and work safety improvement study.

Riduzione delle emissioni di CO2
Fabbrica Italiana Lamiere (FIL) actively commits to climate protection, collaborating with ClimatePartner to reduce and offset CO2 emissions generated by sheet production.
Thanks to this partnership, FIL has measured and offset emissions, equal to 660 kg of CO2eq per ton of product, offering customers the possibility of purchasing CO2-compensated sheets.
The ClimatePartner label guarantees transparency and credibility, demonstrating FIL’s commitment to pursuing sustainable goals and being a virtuous company in the sector.
